Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling a fleet of currently about 17 cars and about 22 drivers (fleet is growing).
  • Planning the Nation Wide Collection (collection of 140,000 kilometers of data in the Netherlands within a time frame of 7 months)
  • Planning projects for drivers going abroad or doing another type of data collection within the Netherlands

Tasks:

  • Scheduling personnel and cars (resources) for data collection
  • Ensuring the highest possible effective number of collected kilometers
  • Monitoring the actual deployment
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to management / board of directors
  • Point of contact for fleet coordinators who manage drivers
  • Target setting with fleet coordinators and management
  • Provide solutions and improvements as needed

Requirements:

  • Good geographical knowledge of the Netherlands (preferred)
  • Solution-oriented and creative
  • Good command of Dutch and English
  • Knowledge of GIS is an advantage
  • Experience with logistics, preferably with data collection
  • Several years of experience as a logistics planner
  • Tackler, flexibly employable, no 9-5 mentality and occasionally available on weekends during peak season if needed

Challenges: The major challenge in this role is weather dependency. In bad weather, no driving will take place and the schedule will be cancelled as the footage will be of insufficient quality. Mileage for reclamation must then be rescheduled. Since the reclamation season for the Nation Wide Collection lasts 7 months, there must be room for this in the schedule.

We offer:

  • A dynamic work environment
  • A young organization where there is much room for improvement and optimization
  • Space for personal development
  • Flexible working hours in consultation
  • A competitive salary based on your knowledge, skills and experience
  • 25 vacation days per year based on a full-time contract and 8% vacation pay
  • Commuting allowance of 0.21 cents per kilometer from 10 kilometers or more
  • A group pension through ASR in which the basic premium is paid in full by us
  • An international, diverse work environment where diversity and inclusiveness are highly valued
