AI-ready data for a careful damage assessment
AI-InfraSolutions has fully equipped inspection vehicles at its disposal. Visual road inspections are based on high resolution (HR) images. The high pixel density can be effectively used for damage assessments. AI-InfraSolutions’ strength and expertise lies both in the acquisition of 360-degree and high resolution images, as well as in the generation of AI-ready data for the automatic detection and classification of road damage.
Qualitative and consistent road damage data
AI-InfraSolutions’ images and data have the right quality to be able to detect any damage to the road and we’re also constantly optimising our AI algorithms. Which has resulted in the accurate detection and classification of the most common types of damage, such as fraying, mechanical damage, holes and (repaired) cracks. Per lane or road section and in accordance with the applicable standards. AI-InfraSolutions is using this partly automated AI solution to increase the (consistent) quality of the data and inspections. The lead time is shorter and the inspectors have less work to do. We can subsequently prevent unsafe situations, as the damage to the road surface is no longer having to be physically determined in traffic. It also requires fewer vehicle movements, which makes the process safer and more sustainable.
Our range
The inspector will use the inspection results provided to ascertain whether the road markings still comply with the set standards and guidelines.
We supply the detection and classification results in 2D (.shp), or in our 3D Geoviewer. But also as a data layer for your own GEO/GIS or management environment.
