Job Description
As an Operational Tender Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company’s entire tender process. Your tasks will include actively monitoring tender opportunities, advising on participation decisions, and ensuring deadlines and progress are met. You will contribute by writing tender texts, building a text library, and ensuring all required documents are submitted accurately and on time. Additionally, you will oversee the progress of tender projects and ensure appropriate follow-up on submitted tenders, including aspects such as SROI (Social Return on Investment) or other relevant requirements.
Responsibilities
Actively searching for and keeping track of available tenders relevant to the company.
Advising the team on tender participation and ensuring timely decision-making so that deadlines are communicated to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Writing tender texts and setting up a structured text library to support future applications.
Ensuring timely submission of participation documents and monitoring the tender process progress.
Tracking decisions related to tenders and ensuring appropriate follow-up on submitted tenders, including aspects like SROI or other requirements.
Maintaining consistent communication with internal teams and external parties to ensure all necessary documentation is submitted on time and meets tender requirements.
Requirements
A completed MBO/HBO (Bachelor’s level) education, preferably in a commercial or technical field.
Experience in a similar role within the tender or procurement process is a strong plus.
Strong proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of and experience working within tender and procurement processes.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
Ability to work independently, proactively, and solution-oriented, with a high level of responsibility.
