Job Overview

For our Delivery & Support department, we are looking for a Functional Application Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our information systems, with a focus on the development of our new internal system. You will ensure that users have access to the right information and features, and you will actively monitor whether the application meets business needs. In collaboration with various stakeholders, you will optimize processes. You are customer-oriented, organizationally strong, and work accurately to achieve results, with enthusiasm for both users and the team.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage applications (priority on PROSSES and MS Office)
  • Gather user requirements and create functional specifications
  • Maintain application settings (authorizations, workflows, templates)
  • Set up dashboards according to user needs
  • Act as an intermediary between users and automation experts
  • Install, test, and monitor software
  • Monitor and resolve user issues
  • First point of contact for users, providing instruction and support
  • Write user manuals and documentation
  • Resolve incidents in collaboration with support colleagues

Requirements

  • HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level
  • Experience with ERP system implementation
  • Good knowledge of MS Office 365 and Windows
  • Experience with IT security
  • Knowledge of the technology of PROSSES (or its development, see https://prosses.nl/software/)
  • Familiarity with BiSL, Prince II, or TMap
  • Communicative, solution-oriented, and analytical
  • Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is a big plus
