Your data. Your security. Your control.

Store and Process Infrastructure Data Locally

Digital security has become a top priority due to increasing tensions within the global geopolitical climate.

This raises questions about data sovereignty and the protection of sensitive data.

Much of the global cloud and data infrastructure is managed by US servers such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. Although these companies have data centres in Europe, in most cases, the legal control remains with their parent companies in the US.

Despite all precautions, there is still a risk that data will be accessible to US authorities, even if it is physically stored in Europe.

Every year our team at AI-InfraSolutions collects mobile mapping data and images of the entire Netherlands. For governments and companies, our images are essential information to carry out inspections, maintenance, and asset management. That is why we have been storing our images in a Dutch cloud since our company began in 2018. This prevents a foreign cloud provider from ever denying Dutch governments or companies access to our data and ensures it’s security.

ISO 27001 Compliance

AI-InfraSolutions is ISO 27001 compliant, demonstrating our commitment to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. As part of our compliance, we adhere to key requirements outlined in the standard, including:

Aligning with ISO 27001, ensures we meet both local and international security standards. This not only strengthens our data protection practices but also builds trust with our clients. Our compliance with ISO 27001 helps us manage cybersecurity risks, safeguard sensitive data, and support secure, efficient data transfers, all while maintaining full compliance with data localization regulations

Why is storing and processing data within a country's borders important?

Legal Security and Data Protection
National data protection laws, such as GDPR, give companies greater control over their data and better protection against foreign access or ambiguous legal situations. By keeping sensitive information within national borders, companies can reduce the risk of data breaches and unauthorized access. This is especially important for safeguarding citizens’ data from foreign surveillance or intrusion.

Protection from Foreign Authorities
Data stored abroad may be subject to foreign laws like the US CLOUD Act, which allows foreign authorities, such as US law enforcement, to access data stored outside their jurisdiction. This can expose sensitive information to risks, as companies may be required to comply with foreign data requests, potentially bypassing domestic privacy protections.
Minimizing Cybersecurity Risks
Storing data locally reduces the risk of espionage, data breaches, or cyberattacks from foreign entities. Keeping critical data within national borders makes it less vulnerable to external cyber threats and makes it easier for law enforcement to address cybercrimes.
Faster Data Access and Processing
Data stored locally benefits from lower latency and a more reliable network infrastructure. This is particularly beneficial for applications requiring real-time data processing.
Economic and Strategic Sovereignty
By using national IT operators, companies retain control over their valuable information while also supporting the local economy and creating jobs.
Enhance Trustworthiness
Adhering to local data storage requirements can build trust with customers and demonstrate a commitment to data protection.
