Position Overview
The Team Coach leads the development teams within the Product & Tech organization, which is currently composed of around 30 engineers and product professionals – organized in 4-6 cross-functional teams, by driving agile maturity, fostering strong team dynamics, and guiding individual growth. This role ensures teams can deliver high-quality work in a sustainable, predictable and scalable way and plays a key part in bridging day-to-day operations with strategic direction from the CTO and CPO.
The Team Coach plays a vital role in building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and healthy team collaboration. By focusing on agile leadership, people development, and team effectiveness, this role ensures the organization is set up for sustainable, high-quality delivery.
Core responsibilities
- Supporting teams in agile delivery, emphasizing sprint predictability and delivery rhythm.
- Tracking and coaching teams on key agile metrics (Sprint completion rates, cycle time, lead time, velocity…)
- Proactively identifying and removing blockers to improve team-level flow and performance.
- Translating strategic direction into goals for the team, creating clear frameworks for team action.
- Primary point of contact for team members for all matters related to their work experience, including guidance, support, resolution of any concerns or requests.
- Guiding individual team members in their personal and professional growth, by developing and coordinating training and development plans.
- Collaborating closely with HR on team dynamics, organizational development, employee well-being, as well as sick leave management.
- Conducting performance reviews with input from the CTO and CPO.

- Skilled in interpersonal and coaching dynamics, balancing team and individual needs.
- Comfortable working both one-on-one and with multiple teams.
- Empathic, proactive, and decisive under pressure.
- Results-driven, data-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in fast-paced, tech-driven environments.
- Background or interest in software development is a plus.
- Adaptable, reflective, with a growth mindset and a commitment to self-improvement.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
